About Me

Hi, I'm Kim Wade, Founder, Trauma Informed Teacher, Addiction Specialist, Spiritual Mentor and Mindset Coach.

I'm inspired to help people who help people. I believe we are all lightworkers on some level and I am called to help those people who want to live in their highest attunement. Through bodywork (yoga and reiki), mindset coaching, we can shift the decades old physical and mental patterns that make us feel stuck. We can not only transform the way we move and interact in our lives, but we can radically change the way we feel and, in turn, the way our lives feel.

I have a different approach to Lifestyle Coaching

First, I feel like I’ve seen and done it all. I’ve been to the dark and then back to the light, back and forth on a few more rounds, more than a few times. Today, I like to think of myself as beyond healing. I’m now living, and here to tell the tale, and help others do the same. No matter where you are coming in to these sessions, I see you (as I see myself) as imperfectly perfect.

My Journey

I am a strong LGBTQ+ advocate, proud Mama to adult twins and a 12 Step Addiction Recovery Specialist. I'm a survivor of sexual abuse and assault and no longer hide it. I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD, from childhood abandonment, neglect and abuse and have done a tremendous amount of inner work on this through CBT, 12 Step Recovery Programs and Specialized Trauma Therapies. I have lost more than a few dear ones to addiction and illness. I have danced with grief in my own life as well as have spent many hours sitting in the fire with clients doing the same.

After years of therapy, I left and began to study mindset coaching. It was the next big step for me. It got me to this place now, where I no longer think of myself as a survivor, or as healing. Today, I thrive.

I believe suffering is a part of life and we all experience it. Whether it is predominately mental, emotional or physical trauma, those experiences (or more accurately, how we perceive those experiences) are where our inner life and our real strength turn on. In other words, it is in our darkness that we find our light.

By developing a consistent yoga and gratitude daily practice, I have found the tools to finally transform those old victimized and helpless life patterns that had held me back for so long. My body began to realign itself, my mind learned to sit still.

I discovered that beauty is indeed truth and acceptance of oneself is indeed freedom. With encouragement from my early clients, I created Inner Gaze Coaching to share these tools of true freedom with you.
