Decluttering the Shoulder Roots
This week we will bring stabilization to our shoulder blades by diving deep into scapular awareness in and all around our shoulder girdle. We’ll explore the relationship between the shoulder blades, rib cage and spine using functional movement and somatic tracking. We will declutter habitual holding patterns and and build a strong sense of grounded openness in the upper body.

Letting Go of the Burdens and Drop the Rock
In this class, we will focus on releasing chronic tension in the neck and shoulders. The upper traps often carry the invisible weight of stress and emotional load. In this session, we'll use breath synchronized movement, mindful somatic release, and gentle Hatha postures to soften our habitual patterning of carrying the weight of the world.

Opening the Chest and Soften the Heart
In this class, we will focus on the front of the chest and thoracic extension. We will help unwind the tightness and guardedness many of us carry in the chest. With functional movement, passive and dynamic breathwork, we will promote spaciousness, give ourselves room to breath and declutter some of those stuck feelings.

The Balance of Giving and Receiving.
This class focuses on cultivating the balance between giving and receiving. We'll explore how to reach out (literally and metaphorically), while also embodying the balance to hold boundaries that honor our needs. We’ll work with the rotator cuff and upper body to strike a healthy balance.

The Wings of the Heart
This class will review all of the work we’ve done in October about decluttering our habits with a deeper inquiry into what it means to be of true service in our November theme. Here we’ll explore how the arms and hands extend from the heart, and how core and leg stability support authentic reaching, holding, giving snd receiving. A perfect close to our month. We hope to see you there.
